The Impact of World Exchanges on Oil Prices

Oil prices rose in trading today, Friday, in light of the recovery of global stock markets after the statements of the central banks of the US and Europe to support financial institutions facing the crisis.

By 09:40 Moscow time, futures for American oil rose by 0.19% to $68.60 per barrel.

At the same time, futures for Brent crude rose by 0.20% to $74.85 per barrel, according to Bloomberg.

The American Stock Exchange ended trading higher yesterday, with the Dow Jones up 1.17%, while the Nasdaq up 2.48% and the broader Standard & Poor’s 500 up 1.76 %.

Before that, European markets also closed in positive territory, with the British FTSE 100 index up 0.89%, the German DAX index up 1.57% and the French CAC index up 2.03%.
