Washington, May 1 – The New York Post reported, citing law enforcement sources, that a New York police officer died after spending 33 years in a coma.

At the time of the attack, Patterson was 27 years old, six of whom had served in the police force, and had received seven commendations for his career accomplishments. Already in the hospital he was given the title of detective.
