Real Madrid star Karim Benzema is still responding between the lines to the coronation of Argentine star Lionel Messi with the International Football Association’s 2022 Best Player of the Year award.

Benzema posted a photo from one of his sub-accounts via the Al-Astouri feature on Instagram, talking about his outstanding performance and the championships he won in 2022. The French star was eligible for the award.

Prior to this, Benzema posted a satirical “story” on his official Instagram app account, which included a satirical clip of a man saying, “You are liars” and commenting, “Good night!”

Lionel Messi, the 2022 Qatar World Cup champion, has overtaken the French duo of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in third place and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé.

The French striker had his best record last season, playing 46 matches in various competitions, scoring 44 goals and providing 15 assists to his teammates.

Benzema was recognized as the best player in Europe and the best player in the world, the Ballon d’Or, presented by the famous France Football magazine last year.

In terms of titles, the 35-year-old Benzema has won the Spanish League, European Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup with Real Madrid, as well as the European Nations Cup with France, meaning he has been crowned with 5 group titles.
