According to press reports, Al-Ahli have started negotiations with Pyramids goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawi to get his services starting next season.
Red Genie’s interest in the player stemmed from an attempt to solidify the team’s ranks in the coming period, especially after the level fluctuations of Mohamed El-Shennawi.
The club has started negotiations with Ahmed El-Shennawy, preparing to sign him for the upcoming winter transfer period.

Reports have revealed that Ahmed El-Shennawi is not opposed to the idea of a move to Al-Ahli starting next season.
And Mohib Abdel-Hadi spoke during televised addresses, where he said: “Koler asked the club’s management to support several centers with upcoming transfers, including the center goalkeeper.”
And he continued: “The red genie follows Ahmed El-Shennawi, the goalkeeper of the Pyramids club, to discuss the possibility of signing a contract with him to compete with El-Shennawi.”
