Saudi Arabian Club Al-Hilal Faces Crisis After Star Player’s Injury
Saudi Arabian football club Al-Hilal is currently in a state of crisis due to a serious injury sustained by their star player, Hassan Timbukti. Timbukti, who is also a key player in the Saudi Arabian national team, suffered the injury during a match in Riyadh.
The Injury
Timbukti fell onto the pitch 64 minutes into the second half during a match between Al Akhdar and South Korea, sustaining a severe knee injury.
According to press reports, it has been confirmed that Timbukti suffered a partial rupture of the cruciate ligament in his knee while playing for Al Akhdar against Korea. The match ended with Korea winning by a single goal.
Season-Ending Injury
As a result of the anterior cruciate ligament injury, Timbukti’s season with Al Hilal has come to an end. He will be out of action for a period of four to six months.
This injury is a major setback for Al Hilal, as they have not yet been able to fully benefit from Timbukti’s skills and experience. The club now faces the challenge of finding a replacement for him in the back row, or potentially waiting for the return of another injured player, Hyun Soo.
Fan Expectations
Al-Hilal’s fans have begun calling for the participation of Al-Bulayha, as they believe he will be a key player for the team in the upcoming period.
