Argentine coach Ramon Diaz, coach of Al-Hilal’s first football team, expressed his joy while leading the championship.
The Argentine coach managed to lead his team to its tenth title in its history of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques by defeating Al Wahda.
The match between the two teams ended in two extra halves with a draw by a goal in each, and Al-Hilal managed to decide the outcome of the match with a penalty shoot-out with a score of (7-6).

During a press conference after the match, the Argentine coach said, commenting on the events of his meeting with Al Wahda: “We did not play very well in the first half, but we managed and became champions.”
He added: “This title was the culmination of a very tiring and intense season in every way. Despite a difficult season, the team won the King’s Cup.
Regarding his period of leadership of the Saudi leader, he said: “During my period of leadership, I am happy for everything that I have achieved and we have worked together and thank God for the title. I accepted the challenge to lead the team through a difficult period.”
And he added: “I am pleased with everything that has been achieved during my period. We wanted to win this title despite all the hardships, absences and pressure of matches, and I’m happy to crown our efforts.”
And the Argentine added: “The season is difficult for us because of the large number of matches and the tight schedule. We wanted to win the title AFC Champions League“.
