Moscow, April 13 – Moscow Volunteers daily help in the work of the Unified Selection Center for Service Contracts, Alexander Ksenofontov, a representative of Volunteer Moscow, told the News Agency on Thursday.
A single selection point for military service under a contract has opened in Moscow at the address: Yablochkova Street, 5, Building 1. Anyone wishing to conclude a contract at the age of 18 to 60 can apply here. According to the volunteer, Muscovites, residents of Russian regions, as well as citizens of friendly countries are heading to this point.

As the volunteer noted, the main motive of Russian candidates is to defend their homeland, and as for foreigners, they “want to support Russia as their country of permanent residence.”
One pick-up point is open seven days a week, from nine in the morning to eight in the evening. Those who wish are accepted by volunteers and sent for interrogation. After that, candidates take an electronic queue, go to the waiting room, and then go to the specialists to submit the necessary documents.
“We have a multifunctional center: people come here to sign up for contract service, and also leave from here to places of service,” Ksenofontov added.
