Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin does not currently plan to have a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Asked by the Russian Novosti news agency if President Putin plans to have a telephone conversation with Schultz, Peskov replied: “No, there is no such plan on President Putin’s agenda at this stage.”
This happened after German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced his desire to have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future.
The last telephone conversation between President Putin and Chancellor Olaf Scholz was in September 2022.
