FC Barcelona announced today, Wednesday, the departure of its veteran star Sergio Busquets at the end of the current season.
Busquets’ contract with Barcelona expires on June 30, and no agreement has been reached on an extension.

And the newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Busquets decided not to move to any European team because he did not want to play with Barcelona, as Xavi and Andreas Iniesta did.
The newspaper added: “Busquets has two options: move to the Saudi Arabian league or play in America from the Inter Miami gate.
Notably, the 35-year-old has won numerous titles in a Barcelona jersey, including 8 league titles, 3 European Champions League titles and 3 Club World Cups.
