Barcelona’s Summer Transfers: Special Offers and Reinforcements
Barcelona Plan to Include Pablo Maffeo
Barcelona’s first football team, led by Javi Hernandez, is aiming to strengthen their squad with special offers during this summer’s transfers. The team’s coach, Xavi, has expressed the need for reinforcements in various positions to compete for the title next season.
One of Barcelona’s targets is Spanish right-back Pablo Maffeo from Mallorca. Reports suggest that Maffeo has a release clause of 30 million euros in his contract, which has been extended until 2026. In contrast, Real Madrid is willing to let a player go for only 10 million euros and may send some players on loan. Barcelona has also set their sights on German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City and Spanish defender Inigo Martinez from Athletic Bilbao.
Date of Barcelona’s Next Match
Barcelona’s next match will be against Italian club Juventus in the preparatory rounds for the new season. The match is scheduled for 1pm on July 22nd. Barcelona clinched the Spanish championship this season, finishing first with 88 points.
