Barcelona football officials, led by club president Joan Laporta, are looking for a replacement for captain Sergo Busquets, who will leave the walls of the Catalan castle at the end of the current season.
And yesterday, Barça announced the departure of Busquets after the end of the current season, as the veteran’s contract expires at the end of next June.

And according to Spanish newspaper Sport, there are several names in the table for Barça to support the team’s midfield after Busquets’ departure.
Among the most famous of these names is the Moroccan midfielder Sufian Amrabat of the Italian club Fiorentina, along with the Portuguese Robin Neves, a player of the English Wolves.
As previously mentioned, the Catalan club is also in talks with Manchester City captain Ilkay Gungodan, whose contract with City expires at the end of the current season.
It is worth noting that Barcelona are days away from winning La Liga as they will visit Espanyol at home next Sunday and Barca need to win the match to win the Spanish league title.
