Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji announced the signing of new oil understanding contracts with China, while noting that the country’s gas production has reached an unprecedented record level, exceeding one billion cubic meters per day.

Yesterday, Saturday, Oji said in a media statement that gas production has set an unprecedented record high, surpassing one billion cubic meters per day. The level is one billion cubic meters (per day).

The Minister noted that this level is unprecedented and that the process of extraction, processing and transportation of gas has not stopped even for a minute until now.

And he pointed out that 1.8 billion liters of white oil were provided in the country per year to provide liquid fuel, and an increase of 20 million cubic meters in gas production, and that gas consumption reached 700 million cubic meters per day, which is a record figure, and the winter season has passed with the least problems.

He added: “We have 27 million gas subscribers, with the exception of 90 thousand people in Turbit Jam (northeast), of which 17 thousand had problems in the winter, as they were provided with oil and electric heaters.”

On the other hand, Oji announced new oil contracts and MOUs with China: “We have identified various projects with the Chinese, and in this area, we have made good contracts and agreements with large Chinese companies, which will be announced in the future.”

He added: “We have good news about the conclusion of new contracts and memorandums, which will be announced one by one.”
