Buryatia to Launch Mobile Film Club for Donbass Showings

ULAN-UDE, May 23 – President of the republic Alexey Tsydenov said on Tuesday that Buryatia has allocated a mobile club to show documentaries of the film in service of the Fatherland Festival in Donbass.
The head of the region noted that the All-Russian Festival of Documentary Films “Cinema in the Service of the Fatherland” has begun in Buryatia. Tsydenov added that the festival was established with the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The initiators of the festival will give Buryatia 20 films for wide distribution.

Tsydenov noted that director Olesya Shigina and musician Alexei Poddubny (Django) personally came to the republic to present their films, which have been working in Donbass for 9 years, including “Right on Communication Lines”. The President of the Republic added that “a large number of documentary materials have been accumulated over the years.”
“We, in turn, are providing a mobile club to bring these films to Donbass, even for a tape, the guys are already waiting for the festival. We will definitely take it,” Tsydenov wrote on his Telegram channel.
