Ekaterinburg, March 14 – Partial destruction of the facade of a residential building in Serov, previously, occurred due to the balcony, on which ice fell from the roof, reports the district information policy department.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, in the city of Serov, Sverdlovsk Region, a wall collapsed in a residential building built in 1955, there were no victims, and an investigation was opened into the accident.
“According to preliminary data, the partial destruction of the facade resulted from the collapse of the balcony due to snow falling on it from the roof. The load-bearing walls of the building are not damaged, and there is no danger of further collapse,” the Information Policy Department said in a statement.
