The Mayor of Donetsk Reports Injuries to Children from Ukrainian Shelling
The mayor of Donetsk, Aleksey Kolymzin, has announced that three children have been injured as a result of shelling by Ukrainian forces in the Kuibyshev quarter of the city.
Kolymzin stated, “Three children, born in 2009, 2010, and 2013, were severely affected by the shelling conducted by Ukrainian enemy forces in the Kuibyshev region’s primary position.”
He further added that the injured children, who suffered from shrapnel wounds and bruises, have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
In addition, Denis Pushilin, the acting president of the Donetsk Republic, revealed that Ukrainian forces conducted over 60 bombings on the republic’s territory on Saturday, August 26.
