New Portugal coach Roberto Martinez has announced the list of his team called up to the national team in preparation for the Euro 2024 qualifiers, which were led by star Cristiano Ronaldo.

In Portugal’s latest spell under former coach Fernando Santos, he did not rely on Don as he was eliminated from the starting XI in a number of 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar.

He also did not fully engage him during the original match time and ruled him out several times, which raised many doubts about Ronaldo’s fate with his country after a 20-year career.

The first international break period starts in March 2023 and includes a number of international matches, namely: “European Nations Cup Euro 2024 qualifiers, Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, in addition to the CONCACAF Nations League”.
