Madbouli added during statements at a press conference today after the government meeting: “But in the period leading up to this, the farms stopped production and therefore we have a time gap that needs to be covered and when we resort to imports for a period in order to keep the fattening production wheel spinning and running the cycle, and we provide reasonable priced feed to growers to get Citizen poultry at reasonable prices.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, Prime Minister, said: “The most important thing that financial institutions in Egypt are looking at is that the budget reaches an initial surplus, which means that if revenues exceed expenses, then you are right. way, and we, as a state, have been striving to achieve this over the past 4 years.

Madbouli added during a press conference following today’s government meeting on Wednesday: “We achieved an initial surplus of £34bn from July 2022 to January 2023, compared to £15.4bn last year.”
