England picked up a valuable 2-1 victory over the Italian hosts in a match between the two on Saturday night at the start of their European Nations Cup qualifier campaign.
Midfielder Declan Rice and striker Harry Kane signed the Three Lions duo in two minutes (13, 44 from the penalty spot) respectively.
And Italian striker Matteo Retigi scored the only goal for the hosts by the 56th minute of the match, which took place at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples.
England have won three match points and share the lead in Group C with North Macedonia, who in turn beat their Maltese guest by the same result, by a score of two goals to one.
This group, in addition to Italy, includes the national team of Ukraine.
