Fire Ravages School in Yuldos Village, Kurgan Region

Moscow, May 7 – A school and 20 houses caught fire in the village of Yuldos, Kurgan region, due to forest fires, according to the Telegram channel of the regional director of EMERCOM in Russia.
“Currently, 20 homes and a local school are covered by open fire in the village of Yuldos, Shadrinsk Municipal District,” the report says.
Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kurgan region noted that the rescuers “managed to defend the school,” and there were no fire victims.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies reported the evacuation of residents from the Tobol microdistrict of the Kurgan region, the suburban village of Oval, as well as from the villages of Yuldos and Kudskoye in the Kurgan region due to the threat of fires.
