“According to the forecasts of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the forecasts of Roshydromet, an aggravation of the fire situation is expected in the following subjects: in the Far East – in the southwestern part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorsky Territory, Amur Region, Jewish Autonomous Region,” Kornikov said.

As a result of large fires in the Sverdlovsk region, about 180 buildings burned down last week. The largest fire occurred in the village of Sosva, where about 120 houses fell into disrepair, and about 600 people were left homeless. Two people died.
