Gazprom announced today that its net profit under international financial reporting standards decreased by 41.1% in 2022 to 1.226 trillion rubles.
The report added that the Russian company’s production fell by 20% last year to 412.6 billion cubic meters, while exports to non-CIS countries fell by 45.5% to 100.9 billion cubic meters.
The Board of Directors of Gazprom also recommended not to pay dividends for 2022.
On the Moscow Exchange, Gazprom shares fell by four percent after the announcement of the decision of the board of directors not to pay dividends to shareholders for 2022.
Experts believe that the fall in the shares of the Russian company is temporary, since Gauprom has a huge potential.
