Makhachkala, April 13 – Investigators in Dagestan opened a criminal case in the death of a clinical girl after a physiotherapy procedure in a private laboratory, reports the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation of the Republic.
“A criminal case was opened on the basis of the provision of medical services that do not meet safety requirements in a private medical laboratory in the city of Buynaksk, which does not have a license to provide physiotherapy services, on the basis of an offense under paragraph C of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation Russian (providing services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers, which negligently caused serious bodily harm), as stated in the statement.

According to the investigation, on March 22, in a private clinic in Buynaksk, a 19-year-old local citizen was provided with a physiotherapy service – intravenous administration of saline. Immediately after the session, the girl was taken to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with clinical death.
The UK adds that as a result of providing medical services to the victim, grievous bodily harm was done.
