Gold Prices Soar Ahead of US Data Release

Gold prices rose in trading today, Friday, as investors waited for data on US non-farm payrolls.

By 4:10 pm Moscow time, gold futures rose 0.26% to $1,839.1 an ounce.

At the same time, spot contracts for the precious metal rose by 0.21% to $1834.2 per ounce, according to Bloomberg data.
