Paris, March 14 – A court in the Dutch city of Dordrecht has sentenced a 28-year-old Rotterdam resident to three months in prison for secretly removing a condom during sex, according to Dutch broadcaster NOS.
It is noteworthy that the court in the Netherlands issued a ruling for the first time on charges of secretly removing a condom during sex without the knowledge of the partner. At the same time, it is noted that Dutch law does not provide for punishment for “forced unprotected sex”, as well as in a number of other countries, such as Germany, Switzerland and New Zealand.
The man was acquitted of the rape charges, but the court convicted him of coercion. The court ruled that the man had abused his partner’s trust.
