In Ingushetia, a criminal case was opened after an accident with a bus, in which a man died

Nalchik, February 17 – Investigative authorities have opened a criminal case on unsafe services after an accident of a regular Krasnodar-Makhachkala bus in Ingushetia, which resulted in the death of a person, reports the region’s SUSK RF.

On Thursday morning, on the federal highway “Caucasus” in the Sunzhensky district of Ingushetia, the regular bus Krasnodar – Makhachkala slipped into a ditch and overturned. The accident resulted in the death of one person and the injury of 14 others, including no children. After the incident, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee began to check.

“The Investigative Department of the Sunzhensky district of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Ingushetia initiated a criminal case under the article “Provision of services that did not meet safety requirements, which led to the death of a person through negligence” of the criminal law of the Russian Federation.

The penalty for this article provides for a penalty of up to six years in prison.

According to the agency, during the investigation, the technical condition of the bus, its operating conditions and the circumstances that contributed to the accident will be investigated.
