Today, Friday, data from the Fed showed that US industrial production rose 0.4% in March compared to February.
The data showed that the production of manufacturing and mining industries decreased by 0.5%, while the production of energy facilities increased by 8.4%.
The output of car assembly plants fell to 10.11 million units from 10.31 million units, while the non-car industrial production index rose 0.5 percent last month.
