The Israeli player had professional experience with Spanish club Granada in 2016, but his experience did not last long as he moved to Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Etzili played for Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia in 2020 before returning to Israel to play with Maccabi Haifa in 2021.

Omar Etzili has been playing for the Israeli national team since 2016.
