The Royal Club hosted their counterpart, Elche, at their stronghold, the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid, Spain’s capital, where the home team scored four goals in the match but came to nothing.
Four goals for Real Madrid were scored against Elche by Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema (two goals) and Luka Modric.
Beze’s balance sheet rose to 48 points, finishing second in the La Liga standings, while Elche froze in twentieth place in the League rankings with 9 points.

The Italian coach said Carlo Anchelotti, the coach of White’s castle, said at the press conference after the match: “It was a good match and it was well controlled. In the last third we were particularly successful, we had many chances and we were careful to avoid obstacles.”
He added, speaking of French star Karim Benzema, who became Real’s second-best goalscorer in La Liga: “Karim has had a great career. I hope he continues because all the Real Madrid fans are asking for him at this level.”
And Ancelotti concluded: “I hope we continue with the same style and execution, because all the Real Madrid fans ask us to keep it.”
