Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence in ensuring the safe trip of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Minsk if the US leadership agrees to negotiations.

Lukashenko said: “If Biden wants, Zelensky will come … and the Russians and I will guarantee him a safe and peaceful trip to Belarus … 40 minutes from Kyiv to Minsk, and he will be here.”

Earlier, the Belarusian president expressed his readiness to organize a meeting in Minsk between US President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The US President will visit Poland from February 20 to 22 and meet with his counterpart Andrzej Duda and the leaders of the “Bucharest Nine” (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania). and Slovakia).
