Microsoft announced today that its Outlook program for Mac is now completely free to use, removing the requirement that users have a subscription or license for Microsoft 365.
Outlook is compatible with various email services, including Outlook.com, Google, iCloud, Yahoo Mail, etc. It features a unified inbox and the ability to conduct universal searches. According to The Verge, the application has been enhanced for Macs with silicon chips manufactured by Apple.
Outlook for macOS received a revamp in 2020 from Microsoft. The software now supports Notification Center widgets, Handoff between macOS and iOS, and other features.
The Mac App Store makes a free version of Outlook for Mac available to users.
