Milan reached the semi-finals of the Football Champions League after drawing 1-1 with their compatriot and Napoli hosts Diego Armando Maradona in the second leg of the quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Milan opened the scoring thanks to Frenchman Olivier Giroud in the 43rd minute before Napoli equalized thanks to the return of Nigerian Victor Osimhen in the 90+3 minute.

There were two missed penalties in the match, one from Milan, taken by Giroud in the 21st minute, and the goalkeeper of Napoli converted it brilliantly, and the second from Naples, his Georgian star Khvisa Kvaratskhelia, failed to turn it into a goal in 81st minute, after he hit the ball to the right of the Milan goalkeeper, who shone and turned the ball into a corner.

Despite the draw, Milan reserved a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament with a 2–1 aggregate victory over Napoli, capitalizing on their unanswered first-leg victory.

Milan will play in the semi-final with the qualifier of another quarter-final between their compatriot Inter and Portugal’s Benfica, who will meet at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium tomorrow, Wednesday, noting that Inter won the first leg 2-0 . .
