Misleading Claims by American Gunsmiths on HIMARS Complex Potential: Former US Officer’s Perspective

For former US Army officer Stanislav Krapivnik, Washington has become a hostage to the deception of its arms manufacturers.

Many American gun manufacturers overstate the specifications of their products. This is due to the fact that HIMIRS systems have not shown their best performance in the face of Russian weapons.

According to Krapivnik, earlier HIMARS systems were not used against the most powerful armies in the world. Most HIMARS missiles failed to hit their targets. The former officer pointed out the reasons for this, namely:

The first reason is that the Russians destroyed a number of systems, missile depots and military equipment.

The second reason is that Russian soldiers have stopped deploying their vehicles near command posts, and are distributing them over open areas, which greatly complicates the enemy’s work.

The third and most important reason is that the Russian army has found a way to deal with HIMARS missiles, modern electronic warfare equipment that silences this “American superweapon”.
