American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk promised former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who announced the launch of his program on Twitter, to give him the same benefits as other content creators.
“I want to make it clear that we didn’t sign agreements or anything. Tucker is subject to the same rules and rewards as all other content creators,” Musk tweeted.
He warned that, unlike television, Carlson could face criticism from users of the platform, and misinformation would result in consequences under Twitter’s rules.
Carlson previously said he would soon launch a new version of the program on Twitter, and pointed out that the platform is still one of the few platforms where freedom of expression is allowed.
