During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Tehran, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anazi, Morteza Shah Mirzaei highlighted the favorable and promising investment opportunities in the Iranian petrochemical industry. He expressed Iran’s interest in collaborating with large petrochemical companies such as SABIC.
Potential for Bilateral Cooperation
Shah Mirzaei emphasized that Iran and Saudi Arabia, both significant regional powers with abundant oil and gas resources, can expand their bilateral cooperation in the petrochemical sector. He discussed the potential for cooperation during a meeting with the Saudi minister, who visited the 17th Iranplast exhibition for the second time.
Opportunities in Iranian Petrochemical Projects
Morteza Shah Mirzaei highlighted the excellent opportunities available in the field of knowledge bases, local manufacturers, project implementers, and operators of Iranian petrochemical projects. He mentioned that Iran’s petrochemical industry has achieved valuable milestones and continues to develop. He expressed Iran’s willingness to cooperate and provide these opportunities to major petrochemical companies like SABIC and Saudi Aramco.

Shah Mirzaei emphasized that joint Iran-Saudi cooperation could involve a diverse portfolio of Iranian petrochemical products, goods, and equipment used in the industry, manufactured by Iranian companies. He expressed great pleasure in hosting the Saudi Ambassador for the second time at the Iranplast exhibition and highlighted the friendship and alliance between the two countries, stating that cooperation between them knows no boundaries.
