Spanish club Real Madrid have begun preparing 40 million euros to sign the star of their historic rivals Barcelona at the Mercato next summer.

Spanish network Relevo has reported that the Royal Club is keen to sign German player Dani Olmo, the star of the German national team and German side Leipzig, during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Olmo’s contract with German side Leipzig expires in the summer of 2024, meaning he could leave next summer free of charge at the end of his contract if the German club doesn’t step in and renew the player’s contract.
The network has confirmed that Barcelona are also looking to rebuild their former star, and now with the arrival of Real Madrid, this could make it difficult for Barça, especially in light of the team’s current crisis.
Olmo’s marketing value was over €40 million and with his unique skills and talent, as well as his many attacking positions, he has attracted the attention of many European clubs.
