Moscow, May 17 – The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN will raise the issue of the involvement of the UN official representative Stephane Dujarric in connection with his assessment of the statements of the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence Kirill Budanov about terrorist attacks against Russians, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
Earlier, Budanov announced Kiev’s involvement in terrorist attacks against prominent Russian figures. According to him, “a lot of people have already had it” and among the victims there are “public media cases that are made public.”

A UN spokesperson, asked to comment on this situation, said that he did not see Budanov’s statement on the attacks, but that the UN opposes any terrorist attacks.
According to her, this case should be investigated by the United Nations Secretariat.
She added that Dujarric, as an official representative of the United Nations, is not entitled to take a single position when evaluating Budanov’s words, as this is a matter of bias or inappropriateness.
Zakharova summed up: “This is just a glaring case.”
