Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority CEO Fahd Hameed Al-Din said that in January 2023, Saudi Arabia recorded the highest level of foreign visitor admission in its history.
Hamid al-Din explained at the Saudi media forum that the visa structure is still being developed to facilitate arrival, indicating that steps are ongoing for each destination.
He added: “The Kingdom is connected to 140 cities around the world,” expecting it to reach 160 cities or more by the end of this year.
He noted that an effective and strong influence of the success of the tourism system efforts is the reception of visitors by Saudi Arabian citizens, which is the most visible and strong asset of the Kingdom.
