Saudi Arabia’s Win Led by Cristiano Ronaldo
Saudi Arabia recently made a strong statement by securing the services of Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, in response to Al-Hilal’s contract with Brazilian star Neymar da Silva Junior.
The Al-Hilal and Neymar Deal
A few days ago, the board of directors of Saudi club Al-Hilal, led by Fahd bin Saad bin Nafel, announced their official signing of Neymar Jr. from the French team Paris Saint-Germain. The club even shared a video on Twitter where Neymar expressed his excitement about joining Al-Hilal.
According to trusted transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal with Neymar is valued at 90 million euros, along with various other benefits and an annual salary of 100 million euros.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Competition with Barcelona and the Manchester City Star
Meanwhile, there are reports that Al-Nasr’s board of directors, led by Musli Al-Muammar, is in negotiations with Manchester City’s star player. Journalist Ali Al-Harbi reveals that Al-Nasr is prepared to make a significant financial offer to Bernardo Silva, the City midfielder, for his services this summer.
It is important to note that Manchester City’s manager, Josep Guardiola, has shown reluctance to entertain any offers for Silva, as the club aims to extend his contract. However, Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona officials, led by Joan Laporta, are keen on including Silva in their squad.
Barcelona’s manager, Javi Hernandez, believes that Silva’s playing style would make him a valuable asset in their pursuit of Champions League success. As a result, the club’s board of directors is working to fulfill the coach’s request.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Role in the Deal
Amidst all this, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken it upon himself to persuade his compatriot Silva to consider the Saudi offer and finalize the deal. Ronaldo, being the captain of the Saudi team, sees Silva’s addition as crucial to their success on the global stage.
