Monitoring by Saudi Okaz showed that Saudi women own more than 433,000 commercial records of their own, and their share has risen to 40% of the total institutional commercial records, amounting to 1.8 million commercial records.

In the same context, a recent report from the Department of Commerce seen by Okaz showed that the total number of new commercial registrations issued in the first quarter of this year 2023 was 65,363 commercial registrations, with 31 women among the records issued to institutions. %.

The wholesale and retail sector also acquired the largest share of exported commercial records during the first quarter of this year, accounting for 34% of exported records. The number of records released for the wholesale and retail sector reached about 21 thousand records, followed by the construction sector with about 10 thousand entries, hotel services and restaurants with 8 thousand entries.

The Ministry indicated that by the end of the first quarter, the number of commercial records in the Kingdom reached about 1.32 million commercial records, of which 1.08 million commercial records were from institutions, and the number of commercial records reached more than 236,000 commercial records.
