Aquel Leviss is finally talking about her relationship with Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, which lasted for months. Since Sandoval has been dating their co-star Ariana Madix for nine years, the cheating scandal shook the cast of the Bravo reality show. Madix was good friends with Leviss.
“I want to say sorry to Ariana, my friends, and the fans who cared so much about our relationship for what I did and chose. There’s no reason I’m not a victim and have to take responsibility for what I did. I’m sorry I hurt Ariana. “Entertainment Tonight asks her about it.
“I’m thinking about my choices and talking to a counselor. I’m learning things about myself, like how I tend to be codependent and how much I need to be loved. I have sought emotional validation in unhealthy close relationships without caring about my well-being. This has sometimes hurt others, and I often put close relationships ahead of my friendships. I’m taking steps to figure out how I act and make better decisions, “says the former beauty queen.
“Even though I chose to be on a reality show and accepted the good and bad that came with it, I have been physically attacked, lost friends, gotten death threats and hate emails, and had my privacy violated,” says Leviss.
She says, “I’ve started seeing a therapist to stop my unhealthy behavior cycle, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries, and protect my mental health.” “I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me, understand me, or forgive me. I need to focus on my health and well-being right now, and as I try to be a better person, I will put my mental health first and learn from my mistakes.”
It’s the first time Leviss has publicly talked about her relationship with Sandoval since the news came out on Friday. Sandoval said something over the weekend, and many people criticized his words because he didn’t say anything about Madix. Instead, he defended his businesses and his best friend, Tom Schwartz. Sandoval tried to fix this by making a new statement on Tuesday night in which he finally talked directly to Madix.
Yahoo Entertainment can confirm that Madix found an NSFW video of Leviss on Sandoval’s phone on Wednesday. This was how she found out he was cheating on her. Scheana Shay and Leviss were in New York City to promote the current season of VPR on Watch What Happens Live. When word quickly spread among the friends that Sandoval and Leviss were dating after the show, there may have been a fight between the two women. Public records show that Leviss filed a restraining order against Shay on Tuesday. (She did use her legal name, Rachel Leviss, though.) She probably meant the incident in New York when she said in her statement that she had been “physically attacked.”
Leviss also sent her co-star’s several legal letters about the sexually explicit video. ET got a copy of the letter she sent to Sandoval, which said, among other things, “We’ve heard that you and Ms. Leviss had a private conversation on FaceTime recently, which you recorded without her permission. California is a “two-party consent” state, so it is against the law to record someone without their permission. You could face both civil and criminal penalties if you do this. Please also know that sharing this recording would be against the law in California in more than one way.”
It needs to be clarified where Leviss and Sandoval stand in their relationship. Andy Cohen said on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Monday that he thinks the two are still together. Leviss used to be engaged to VPR star James Kennedy. Kennedy says that Leviss and Sandoval have been sleeping together since July.
Sandoval is the name for the situation, which is quickly getting worse. The production cameras returned on Friday, and the reunion will be taped in the next two weeks. Some reports on Tuesday said that Sandoval had threatened to stop because he didn’t like how a fight with Leviss went this week. Yahoo asked a Bravo representative for comment, but they didn’t reply.
