Moscow, April 27 – Russian President Vladimir Putin honored Russian senators for their great contribution to the development of parliamentarism, active legislative activity and many years of conscientious work; On Thursday, a decree of the head of state was published.
Vyacheslav Timchenko, Chairman of the Regulations Committee of the Federation Council and Senator for the Kirov Region, awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree.
Senator from the Trans-Baikal Territory Pir Zamsuev was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 4th degree.
The Medal of Honor was awarded to Chechen Senator Muhammed Akhmedov.
Senator from the Murmansk region Konstantin Dolgov, representative in the Federation Council from the Arkhangelsk region Viktor Novozhilov, senator from Tuva Dina Uyun, senator from the Volgograd region Nikolai Semisotov was awarded the medal “For Services to the Fatherland” of the 2nd degree.
