The Syrian Ministry of Internal Trade has doubled the price of a liter of diesel fuel for economic activities through Mahrukat and other supply companies throughout the country.
The Ministry set the price of a liter at 5,400 Syrian pounds instead of 3,000 pounds.
The decision stated that the owners of gas stations selling these materials must clearly and legibly announce these prices and the quality of the material at the stations, and violators of the provisions of this decision are subject to the punishment provided for by Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021, and everything that is contrary to this decision is terminated.
On December 13, the ministry set the selling price for a liter of locally produced diesel fuel for economic activity at 3,000 Syrian pounds.
