The Mercenaries Mode will be available for free as downloadable content (DLC) for Resident Evil 4 Remake on April 7, according to an announcement made by Capcom.
The mode’s announcement was made in the new launch video for the Resident Evil 4 Remake, released the day before yesterday, which has been a mainstay in many of the previous Resident Evil games. You can view the trailer by clicking the following link:
What exactly is the Resident Evil: Mercenaries game?
The Mercenaries is a minigame that appears in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4 and its remake, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil Village. The Mercenaries also serves as the entirety of the spinoff title Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.
Every iteration features a unique set of gaming mechanics and a distinct objective. Yet, the primary objective is to achieve a high score by eliminating as many foes as possible within the allotted time.
The gameplay mode in the original version of Resident Evil 4 is far more arcade-like than in prior iterations. You can access it once you have finished the main game. The game’s objective is to eliminate as many of the antagonists as possible before the rescue helicopter comes.
It is not apparent whether the mode in the remake will differ from the original game’s.
