Marine Link reported that the United States is working on the modernization and modification of several Arleigh Burke-class Navy destroyers in its army.

A post on the website reads: “Vigor Marine has received a maintenance and upgrade contract for the U.S. Navy’s Arleigh Burk-class destroyer Gridley. The initial price of the contract is $37.4 million, which could rise to $37.78 million once the decision is made. to make further changes in the future.”

The website states: “Modernization and modification work on the aforementioned ship will be carried out at the Everett shipyard (Washington), and it is expected that the modernization of the ship will be completed in October next year.”

Vigor Marine has been involved in the repair and modification of the American destroyers Arleigh Burke since 2020. In the spring of the same year, she began upgrading the McCampbell ship, and completed work on it in 2022.
