Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboun confirmed that from the very beginning of his candidacy for the presidency of Algeria, he sought to be independent from all parties.
Tebbun said that the political formation to which he had belonged since childhood did not support him and elected someone else. He noted that, while calling for the promotion of civil society, he did not seek to bypass political parties.
He stressed that if he wanted to bypass the parties, he would have created a new party, but did not.
He stressed that there is no fear of a country where civil society is alive and active.
