Donetsk, May 1 – Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk and Gorlovka in 1 hour 10 minutes, firing 18 NATO 155mm shells, reported the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC). .
It should be noted that the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk were fired at at 21.30 and 21.40, respectively, and nine NATO shells were fired at them.
Gorlovka was bombed at 22.30, five NATO shells were fired at it.
NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range 155-mm howitzers M777, and Ukrainian forces actively use them for shelling the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
