It is noteworthy that the growing interest in the actions of Moscow and Beijing regarding the Trump case began after the decision to indict Trump became known last week.
On Tuesday, Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with payments to two women, including pornographic actress Stormy Daniels, to hush up their alleged affair. He pleaded not guilty and was released from Manhattan Criminal Court. Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacubina, and the former president himself said the accusations were devoid of facts and evidence.
According to Manhattan attorney Alvin Bragg, in 2015 Trump and his colleagues agreed on a scheme to suppress negative information to help win the US presidential election. He added that as part of the scheme, Trump and others paid three people to cover up information that could have prevented him from winning the 2016 election.
