Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of French club Saint-Germain, is still trying to buy Manchester United.

The Glazer family, which owns the Red Devils, has set Friday as a deadline to consider offers to buy the club amid news of a valuation of up to $6 billion as the price to complete the deal.

Spanish newspaper AS has confirmed that Al Khulaifi, who serves as president of Qatar Sports Investment Company, intends to invest in the English Premier League club as soon as possible.
Initially the idea was Tottenham Hotspur, but in recent weeks Manchester has become one of the options available to a company looking to expand further.

The problem is that the regulations of the European Football Association do not allow two teams of the same owner to play in the same tournament, so Manchester and Paris will not be able to get into the Champions League, and one of them will win. should be present in the Europa League or the Conference League, but this idea does not match his ambitions.

The company is discussing some solutions, for example, to buy out the club partially, as happened with Sporting Lisbon, buying out a 20% stake in the Portuguese club.

The newspaper indicated that discussions are currently underway to discuss the most appropriate way to invest in Manchester United and overcome all possible obstacles.

It is noteworthy that so far no candidate for the purchase of Manchester has been officially announced, except for British businessman Jim Radcliffe.
