Moroccan club Wydad Sports are back with a 0-1 defeat at their host Simba Tanzanian’s stadium in a match that brought them together on Saturday in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals.

John Palecki Otus scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute.

Wydad, the defending champion, will host Simba next Friday in the second leg.

The Moroccan team needs to win by two goals to continue their title defense campaign.
