Barcelona coach Javi Hernandez sent a message to club president Juan Laporte and Barcelona fans after winning the Spanish La Liga after the match against Real Sociedad.
On Saturday evening, as part of the 35th round of the Spanish Premier League 2022-2023, the events of the match took place, which brought the Catalan club together with its counterpart Real Sociedad.
Spotify Camp Nou, a stronghold of the Barça team, saw the guests win at the expense of the landowner by a score of two goals to one.
With a win in La Liga, the Catalan club kept the lead in the La Liga standings with 85 points, while Real Sociedad’s balance rose to 65 points and finished fourth.
And Barça previously won the Spanish Premier League title, during Espanyol’s last official match of the 2022-2023 season.
Xavi sends a message to Laporta and Barcelona fans after winning La Liga
Spanish coach Javi Hernandez, head coach of the Catalan team, spoke after the match, addressing the fans of Barça and club president Juan Laporte.
“Thank you Laporta, we thank him for the support he has given us throughout the season,” Xavi said.
He added: “To everyone who helped us win the La Liga title, thank you, go Barcelona, go Catalunya.
And he continued: “On the day of Joan Gamper, I asked for the union of the fans of Barca, and you did it. Thank you.”
He concluded by saying: “Thank you to all the technical staff and players who have done everything to win this title. We thank Busquets. We thank the fans, the wonderful people who are here, and those who are watching from behind the TV.”
